“I believe leadership can come from anywhere, a home, a classroom, a community space, and so many places in between.”
I’m a public education professional, a community advocate, and a proud Hornsby Bend resident. I’ve called this community home for ten years.
For nearly five years, I’ve worked in family and community engagement in public education. Through that work, I’ve learned that people don’t need someone to speak for them. The community needs to be heard by district leaders and trustees alike. They need access, clear information, and meaningful opportunities to use their own voices.
Who is Gloria?
I’m running for Del Valle ISD Trustee because I believe good governance matters, especially in a growing district with important decisions ahead.
Del Valle is growing, and that growth brings both opportunity and responsibility. I want to help ensure the decisions we make today support strong academic outcomes, responsible long-range planning, and greater opportunities for our students.
I’m not running because I believe I have all the answers. I’m running because I know how to listen, learn, ask questions, and do the work.
